Ramesh Adige is a seasoned professional with over 43 years of experience encompassing the following sectors:

He has global exposure and is adept in the areas of Corporate Policy, Public Affairs & Public Policy, Strategic Planning, Joint Ventures, Technical and Financial collaborations. As Executive Director he headed the Corporate Affairs and Global Corporate Communications function at India's largest pharmaceutical company, Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited (merged with Sun Pharma). Previously he has served as Executive Director at Fiat India and was also President, Governing Council of the Automotive Research Association of India and Member, Development Council for Automobiles and Allied Industries.

Ramesh has played a role of a catalyst in many policy decisions taken by public bodies and Governments across the world. Widely recognised as a thought leader in Corporate Policy, Public Affairs & Public Policy and Strategic & Perspective Planning, he spearheads numerous collaborative efforts between the Industry and Government. He is an active member of leading industry associations including CII & PHD Chamber and headed the CII's Task Force on Intellectual Property Policy. Ramesh has played a very active role in furthering Indo-US relations through contributions in Trade Policy Forum meetings instituted by the Government of India & the US Administration. He was engaged in bilateral trade & investment relations with countries such as Romania & South Africa.

Nature is known to be his best friend. Ramesh takes keen interest in natural history, ornithology and tree planting. He has achieved a degree of expertise in these areas. He is responsible for giving a new lease of life to the famous Deer Park at Hauz Khas, Delhi. He along with others, ensured (with a canopy and a tree cover rarely seen in the middle of urban landscape) that the neglected park turned into a green patch. Due to his persistent efforts the park is today designated as a protected forest area. He has also played an important role in bringing to the fore the sad condition of one of Delhi’s architectural heritage viz Baolis (Stepwells). Ramesh is a Member of the BioDiversity Foundation of NCT, chaired by the Hon’ble LG of Delhi.
